Hongjing Electronics Team Building Foundation-strengthening Project – Boosting Basic Management to a New Level

Focusing on high-quality development, creating value for customers, and building the future for the enterprise! In 2025, Wuhu Factory took the lead to make a good start. The "Foundation-strengthening Project: Team Building" was officially launched in February 2025. As the project advanced, under the guidance of professional consulting teachers, the team building initiative quickly gained momentum and was fully rolled out across Wuhu Factory.

Since the project kicked off, with the professional guidance of consulting teachers, the active promotion and execution of the project steering committee members, and the strong support and direction from the company's senior management, the project has achieved certain phased results. At the system level, we have completed the Foreman Responsibility Checklist, Foreman Daily Work Flow Chart, and standardized documents for the three-meeting system. We have also optimized mechanisms and policies such as the foreman evaluation and competition system. At the operational management and work standardization level, we have created standardized video templates, including model videos for standardized equipment maintenance methods, SOP work instructions, and line change procedures. In addition, we have produced visual kanbans featuring core knowledge extraction for foreman development, enabling on-site learning and growth guidance for all staff at any time.

During this coaching program, the first phase of the foundation-strengthening project – the "Comprehensive Competency Improvement for Foremen" course – delivered a total of 20 hours of professional training. The curriculum covered key topics including foreman role recognition, daily management, core competencies, quality improvement, and lean production. The Training Department organized strict on-site assessments to conduct a phased evaluation of the training effectiveness. The training achieved a 100% participation rate, with 99% of participants taking the assessment and a pass rate of over 60%. Five candidates scored above 90 points, basically meeting the training objectives. After the assessment, the company assigned designated managers to provide targeted coaching for underperforming foremen. To quote the teacher's classic remark: "The value of a manager lies in removing obstacles for subordinates in their work" (kudos to Teacher Yang!). The second-phase course, Total Quality Management (TQM), has already commenced. We encourage managers at all levels to study earnestly and strive for even better results in the next phase!

Regarding the coaching teachers, the foremen unanimously praised the courses for being easy to understand and practical. With rich hands-on experience and solid theoretical knowledge, Teacher Yang Hua explained complex content in a simple way, translating management theories into easy-to-follow real-world cases. To boost enthusiasm and ensure the effective implementation of the project, the project organizing committee adopted a points-based management system to combine learning with practice. Outstanding performance was recognized and rewarded: the top-performing participant groups in the first phase received special commendations and exquisite gifts, which greatly stimulated the learning enthusiasm and engagement of all participants.

This week, consulting teachers provided special training on "Document Optimization and Compilation" for the members of the company's project steering committee. The training helped committee members master standardized processes and techniques for document drafting. The innovative approach of replacing cumbersome text with flowcharts was widely acclaimed, significantly improving document quality and work efficiency, and providing strong support for the smooth progress of all company operations.
